Rome to Venice
 

I have 4 nights between Rome and Venice in mid June. I am traveling with my husband and two college age sons. We are in the restaurant business and so good food is a must! Any suggestions for stops to include at least one night in Florence? Thank You!

I would think that a restauranteur would want to pay homage to Bologna and all things Bolognese...

A stop in Verona - -if for no other reason than to pick up wines, from Amarone(s) to Teroldego Rotaliano and other delights from the Trentino/Alto Adige - - would also be excellent.
