Rome to Naples: San Gennarro Festival
Having been to the San Gennarro festivals in NYC and NJ, we thought it would be fun to see the real deal in Naples on 9/19/10. I'd love to hear comments from other travelers who've been there.
We'll be traveling from Rome to Naples. What's thebetter transportation option for easy access to the festival area - the train or bus?

We were thinking of just going for one day, either 9/2 or 9/3, depending on which of the 2 events sounds like more fun. Of course, if we get many recmmendations to do both, we would stay over one night.

oops-ignore that last post - that one's meant for our question about Viterbo.
We will probably stay in the Naples area for a few days to visit some of the interesting towns andsites. Any suggestions are welcome

I can personally recommend the Decumani. Nice place, great prices, and in the most charming neighborhood in Naples. It's about a 10 minute walk to the festival grounds.
