Rome sights with limited mobility

We will be in Rome for three days in May. I love Rome and had planned an itinerary to show my husband some of my favorite places. Having injured my leg in a ski accident, none of what I had planned will be feasible. I can walk but not very far and not very fast. Any ideas on interesting things to do in light of this injury? We will be staying in the Prati. Grazie.

Buses will take you anywhere in Rome.

The little electric buses take you closer to many points of interest than regular buses can. Here's a map of the routes:

If you buy a three-day pass for 11 Euro, you can hop on and off the buses as often as you like.

I would count on taxis - which can take you right up to the entrance of anyplace. And if you want to visit someplace indoors (Vatican Museums) why not check out renting a wheelchair - and give your leg a rest?
