rome/sienna/florence

In June, we are in Rome for three nights, Siena for two nights, and then Florence for three nights. We want three relaxing days at the end somewhere easy to travel and would appreciate suggestions.Thank you!

you MUST not skip venice. i'd spend two nights in florence, and several days in venice...my favorite city in italy!

We can fly out of Rome or Venice...where we go from Florence will determine this. Grazie!

With so little time -- less than 2 weeks -- I wouldn't add a fourth destination, especially if you want to relax.

Perhaps add a day to each of your three current cities, and save yourself some wear and tear. That way, you might even have a moment for a relaxing coffee between visiting sights, and not have to spend so much time packing, unpacking, and traveling between towns.

Even in Siena, you can easily stay occupied for three days. Some will suggest that Siena's main sights -- the Duomo and the central Piazza del Campo -- are all that you need to see and you can therefore "do" Siena in a day. But it has much more to offer to visitors willing to take a look.
