Rome Rooftop Restaurants

Anyone have a favorite rooftop restaurant they would like to recommend? Searches have so far come up with La Terrazza in the Hotel Eden and I know about Pergola in the Hilton but any others?

These hotels have rooftop restaurants: Hassler, Atlante Star and Raphael. The Hassler is overpriced and mediocre, haven't eaten at Atlante Star, and the Raphael is great--good food, perfect view and atmosphere steps away from the Piazza Navona.

we stayed at, and ate at, the Raphael back in '99. The rooftop restaurant was very nice. As Grinisa said, good food, pleasant service, and a lovely view.

Hotel Minerva, just behind the Pantheon, has a rooftop restaurant...if I am remembering correctly.

The Mirabelle Restaurant in the Hotel Splendide Royal, Via Di Porta Pinciana 14, just off the Via Veneto. The roof-top restaurant has a beautiful view over the rooftops of the Via Veneto, the Borghese Gardens and the dome of St. Peters. Very good food and service. Once you get past the glitz of the Versace-inspired lobby it is a wonderful experience. I would especially recommend a table on their large terrace. The place is somewhat dressy, the waiters wear cutaways. Medium to expensive, and worth it.

Thanks, everyone. We are going to try the Hotel Raphael. I found pictures on their website and it looks lovely. I'll let you know if it is still as good as everyone that has been there remembers.
