Rome recommendations for large group?

Does anyone have a recommendation in Rome for a group of 50 for drinks and antipasti? Someplace we can meet for 2 hours. We're a large group going on a cruise and we want to meet the night before.

Thanks,

Monica, I'd definitely contact a venue ahead of time for a group that large. I know there's a "back room", it's the room furthest back at Otello alla Concordia. La Rampa very close to the Spanish Steps may also be able to accomodate a group that size, but I'd really phone or e-mail them ahead of time.

Ciao e buon viaggio, bella!

Grazie BC! I do plan to make reservations ahead of time. I did a quick search on Fodors and found a few that takes large groups, so I emailed them. Will check your recs.

The "upper floor" of Bar Baracaccia would also work...trying to think of where else...oh, yeah, they've re-done the Bocca di Ripetta, and have a lower level now, and I think should be able to accomodate a group that size. (Appetizers there are terrific.)

I second Alla Rampa Ristorante. They don't have a completely private area, but I think they could isolate your group somewhat.
