Rome/Padre Pio day

Anyone know about some big event in Rome in the near future concerning Padre Pio.
Mike

Hey Mike...
that "SOME BIG EVENT" would be Padre Pio getting canonized as a saint.
To bring it down to your level it would be like you winning a hot dog eating contest- Like REALLY BIG STUFF!

Sister M: who is this Pio guy and why are they using a canon on him...?
Your tolerance for my question gives me understanding why catholic schools are falling on their faces for lack of funds and academic qualifications. They had credibility at one time, but surely even you realize that time is long over.
This pope has demonstrated that he is much more interested in the politics of religion then in the validity of sainthood, i.e. Padre Pio and many others. He will undoubtedly win the "How many saints can I make" contest which he has been competing in since his "election".
Thank you again for your response. Sister M, you have again, as usual, won another follower to the message of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Oh wait, are those not the gifts of the spirit?
Peace to you, Sister.

Good for you Mike. Sister M is a frustrated celibate B word. Many of my co-workers are girls who fled the close minded, overbearing, guilt ridden halls of parochial schools where lesbian nuns weilded ignorant control over legitimate thinking.
Open the window and let in the fresh air, Sister.
