Rome - need car and driver
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced car and driver for a day in Rome? We have only two days in the city and I want to make sure we see the highlights.

why do you want a driver...what you want to see covers a basically small area that can easily be walked or take a taxi..I think you'd waste more time in Roman traffic that you would seeing things.

You can walk from Spanish steps to Pza. navona, Trevi,Vatican,Cast.san Angelo, etc.. even from the Via Veneto area , you can just go on foot to the main things you will want to see. Or there is a circle bus #16(?)

I strongly agree with "confused". In two days you can see the highights walking and cabbing around Rome. Dont put to much in one day and leave some time open each day to just sit and enjoy.

I totally agree that you do not need a driver to see the sights in Rome. Most of the sights are easily accessible and taxis are fairly cheap. Also I think the drivers in Rome are crazy and you'll be lucky to arrive anywhere alive!!

If you are looking for suggestions on where to go and what to see within your time frame, feel free to e-mail me and I will give you some recommendations and also a list of restaurants to try.
