Why don't you keep all your inquiries on the same thread..the answer I gave you on the Gucci/Prada thread holds the same. Alessi sells at fixed prices and my guess is that they are a bit less expensive in Italy since it is an Italian company. And again, you will save the tax.

Thanks for the feedback.
ira, I'm looking for some Alessi kitchen gadgets, cocktail shakers etc. vjplovesitaly is right.
ekscrunchy, you are right, I should have started a shopping in Italy thread. I didn't think about the Alessi products before I posted the question about Gucci and Prada. Sorry.
I have a few Alessi products and I'd like to buy some more. I have priced them in some European countries (not Italy) and I find them to be a little more than in Canada. I was wondering if they do cost less in Italy.

going,
It is helpful that you have already shopped for Alessi at home, so you will know if what you see is a good deal for you. As others have said, with the poor exchange rate it can be difficult to predict.
Alessi is available in many stores in Rome . . . department store housewares departments such as Rinascente, housewares specialty shops, and also in tourist shops in the historic center that sell a variety of products of interest to tourists.

Will your travels take you to Milan or to the lake district in Italy?
There is an Alessi factory store in Omegna, not far from Lake Orta. Some items were deeply discounted; some were seconds. Firsts were available as well.

Via Alessi 6

Unfortunately, I will not be visiting Milan, so I will not be able to go to the Alessi outlet.
I will be visiting Venice and Rome and I plan on doing most of my shopping in Rome.
