Rome in February
Hello all--
Does anyone know what the weather is like in early February in Rome? Thank you! |
Hi
Have you checked out http://www.weatherbase.com ? :d Regards Gard http://gardkarlsen.com - trip reports and pictures |
I've been in February twice (rugby). The first time it was dry & sunny, warm enough for shirtsleeves in the daytime, in the sun, but needing a warm coat at night. The second time it was cold and rained a lot. Take everything.

I just came back from 2 days in Rome.
Yesterday I was so goofy because the only one, so to speak, to wear overcoat and hat. This morning also warm enough. Will it mean that the weather will be the same or even better in Febraury ? Absolutely NO. Who knows ? February is winter and we say that it is so short and so bitter (as weather). Ciao. Vincenzo. |
We were in Rome last February (6-14). We had some rain and a few nice sunny days--overall it was warm enough that we both only had raincoats (mine had a zip-out liner which I didn't use during the day but did use every evening).

I was in Rome for a week in February 2007 (mid Feb) and we had gorgeous weather. It was in the 50's and mid 60's most days - one day even getting near 70 (coming from NY it was a welcome relief from frigid temperaturs). We had two days of overcast and a touch of rain but basically we had mild weather. The evenings were cool. I wore a velvet blazer with a scarf during the days and winter coat at night. Bring an umbrella. Enjoy...it's my favorite place.

We were in Rome in February 2004. It rained on several of the days. A light jacket was enough most of the time; some days, it was warm enough to walk around without any jacket.
