Rome Hotel with Pool in November.

Can anyone give any suggestions for a hotel with an indoor or outside heated swimming pool in mid november. We do not mind staying outside of the city center in the surrounding suburbs.

Any information would be a great help.

Thanks

The Westin Excelsior has an indoor heated pool.

pethead - no idea what your budget is but the Russie has an indoor pool in their spa area. We did not stay there but had spa services one day and used the indoor pool. It is a very expensive hotel.

I should mention that the Excelsior is a luxury-type hotel. We have stayed there twice with Starwood points and enoyed it very much.

Before my trip, I seriously considered this hotel as it was near where my brother lived. It does have an indoor pool (and an outdoor one too). We were able to get an apartment.

I just checked it, and for a random night in November, it was 135E for two adults. About 3km from St. Peter's.

That is to say, we were able to get an apartment instead so we did not stay there after all.

Thanks alot for the replies. My budget is in the mid range however, and I do not staying 15 or so miles outside the city center.

What I guess I was kinda looking for was a hotel with an outdoor heated pool outside of the city. I know, I know the weather that time of year is in the 50's (MY FAMILY AND I DON'T MIND THE COLD. That's actually decent weather for us) but relaxing outside in a pool anytime of year, in my opinion better than swimming inside.

I suspect you will pay more for this amenity in Europe than in the US.

It would probably be good to put your target price per night, and also the number of people in your party. Mid-range means different things to different people.

No hotel in Italy will keep an outdoor pool open after the end of August or maybe mid September.

Also a Starwood property, but more budget-friendly...the Four Points Roma West (EU biz district) also has an indoor pool. We've also stayed at the Palazzo della Fonte in Fiuggi that has an indoor pool (it's not in Rome though...fine for travelling, but no good if you are staying there while visiting Rome)
