Rome Hotel up to 150 Euro recommendations

We will be in Rome June 11-15, and recently lost our reservation. I had booked a hotel back in January, for what I thought was June 2009. But the whole time, they thought it was July, and neither one of us caught on to it until earlier this week. Anyways, they're booked in June, and now I have been scrambling to find availability for another place. I have contacted a lot of the hotels recommended on this board (checked on venere as well), some have came back with partial availability. I'm now waiting to hear back from apartment rentals. But in the mean time, can you recommend a hotel between 100-150 Euro? Thanks so much!

Have you checked the Hotel San Francesco in Travestere? We thought it quite nice.

We've stayed here twice and paid under that but it wasn't June. Great location...can walk everywhere.

Try this b&b:

How many people? Have you thought about an apartment...often less than a hotel room. I just put your dates in at this site and saw several apartments under 150E.

Good luck.

Thanks for the additional recommendations, I sent those places an email to check. It would just for me and my husband. Our budget is really 120E, but now willing to go up to open up more search options. Thanks!!

We just came back from Italy and stayed at Hotel Romae in Rome. It's a 3 stars hotel, few blocks from the Termini Station which is very convenient for us to take the subway and bus. Room is furnished with modern furnitures and very clean. They have English-speaking receptionists. Breakfast is included across the street (at the Yellow Bar). We paid Euro 81/night (discounted rate for shoulder season plus we stayed for 5 nights). Their info is:
Hotel Romae
Via Palestro No. 49, 00185 Rome
Telephone + 39 064463554
[email protected]

Good luck!

You might try one of the many convents. This one has AC, TV, etc. and is in your price range. There are others better located that are cheaper, but not as many amenities.
