I second Arco del Lauro. We sayed 6 nights and loved the location and woman who runs it is fabulous. Very basic, clean, quiet and cheap (120 for a double in May.)

can anyone tell me web site or email or arco del lauro. I am having trouble finding it. I may just be at the point of exhaustion trying to find a hotel room for the last night. i planned the pretrip to Tuscany ,the trip to Tuscany and neglected the last night before leaving for the U.S.A.What a mistake. Any suggestions i would be grateful.I need the room for Oct. and everything seems to be booked. I will spend up to about 200-250 euros .thanks

Trouble finding it? That's strange...
It was the first thing that came up when I googled 'arco del lauro trastevere":
