Rome hotel opinions? Please choose from 3...Albergo del

We are trying to decide from three options...Albergo del Senato, Intercontinental, or the apartment with Relais Trevi 41? We are getting two rooms with option 1 or 2 (family of four) or the one apartment. Have to make a decision manana.

Your thoughts are much appreciated!

Is this the same trip you have been dithering and leaving in 3 days, and your first destination is Rome? Are these just names of accommodations or you know they have rooms available with 4 days notice?

If these are indeed all available, you need to choose one key criteria and go with it. The time is working against you. Intercontinental is near high end shopping, Senato is near Pantheon and surrounded by good restaurants. If one room is the key criterion, you really don't need to ask this forum.

If you are truly leaving in 3 days as stated above, then you might be force to take whatever is available. There are 10's of thousands of pilgrims in Rome for the beatification of Pope John Paul and rooms will be at a premium, if even available on such short notice.

They all have availability. We have had reservations at one since last week (Senato), the Relais Trevi 41 apartment was always available as well, I just couldn't a lot of information on anyone who had stayed at the apartment in the Annex vs. the hotel. The hotel seems to be well recommended itself. The third was offered up by a friend who was scouring for her own trip. I looked again last night and it seems with cancellation periods coming in, things are opening up on the reservations front at breakneck speed, so there are a lot of openings now.

Betterbidding personally for me

The Intercontinental Ville at the Spanish Steps

best for me bidding priceline.com recently

$180/nt a true 5* in a quintessentially perfect location

on top of the Spanish Steps.

Happy Hunting,

Thank you. I see Empire Palace Hotel on Priceline. I had reviewed it earlier, but wondered at the distance.
thanks!
