We are staying at the Baldassini B&B, which is 10 minutes from the Pantheon, for Euro 65/night. We are going at the end of February. Our bathroom is not in the room, but is not shared. The breakfast is served in your room. And Francesco has been a doll to get in contact with so far.

I think 10 minutes is more accurate...but close enough!

Yes, I agree - the 2 minutes from Baldassini B&B to the Pantheon would be if you are a bird. But still, that's a great location and a great price. Please report back on the quality of the place.

Just came back from a very last minute trip to Rome last weekend-booked 3 days out at the Hotel Nardizzi right off Via Nationale. It is a Rick Steves place (I later found out) but was great for 120 euros or 112 euros with a current Rick book. It included a so-so continental breakfast but the location is great as it is one block from Repubblica metro (Baths of Dioclelian area-probably spelled that wrong) and just a short bus ride or cab to Termini which is perfect for daytrips. The whole street is filled with hotels such as the Hotel Aberdeen(my fav),Oceania,Nardizzi, etc.None of these are going to be over 150 euros at this time of the year and they are perfect for what you need.
I stay up on the Via Veneto everyweek for work which is nice but a pain to get arounds so this area on Via Firenze is very easy for walking around to everything and using public transportation.
