rome hotel

My wife and I are planning a trip to Rome in November. Could someone give me some suggestions on hotels in the $100-$150 range? Preferably in a central location.
Thanks

There are probably 10,427 hotels that have been suggested in this forum on that price range. Do a search.

My husband & I stayed at Residenza Farnese in Rome in June/02. I had read about it in Conde Naste magazine. It is in your price range, is very centrally located (we walked everywhere!), and the rooms were up-to-date and decorated nicely (clean too!). The price also included breakfast, which was the best breakfast we had during our European vacation (be sure to try the marmelade!). We would definitely stay there again. I booked it myself over the net at [email protected]

Kate,
Don't act like such a bitch. Read on if you can't help.

Apurva,
Hotel Arenula fits your criteria. Small, clean, central, cheap.
We stayed in the Hotel dell' Accademia in Aug. 2000. It was reasonably priced, had a nice full breakfast and was located about 50 yds. from the Trevi Fountain and walking distance from the Spanish Steps and other central locations.
I had no complaints about the service and everyone spoke English.
Good luck.
