Rome -Help/Info Needed for 24 yr. old Niece-

Does anyone have an suggestions as to some great places that a 24 yr old may find entertaining for night-life, etc.?
I am over twice her age,
and since my children are under the drinking age by many yrs,
this is an aspect of Rome I just never bothered to investigate.

So, any names of places
or websites where THIS type of info can be found , would be greatly appreciated!!

The "Let's Go..." travel book series are written by and for college-age students, that may be one source.
There's probably a "Let's Go Rome" or at least a "Let's Go Italy."

If you are going in the summer, go to Testaccio and on Via Monte Testaccio is Testaccio Village, an open air spot that has several different areas each playing different music. Radio Londra is the hot place for jazz there. Be aware that many Roman nightclubs require you to be a member in order to be allowed inside. You can purchase a membership at the door and prices vary depending on the chicness of the club.

Try www.timeout.com/rome. Then click on bars and cafes and use the pull-down menu to find ones in specific neighborhoods. Time Out is largely geared toward twenty-somethings (though I use it and I'm way past that age!) and has lots of online listings once you figure out how to navigate the site. Or buy their Rome book.

We stayed in Trastevere in Sept. We went with our 30 yr. old son and his fiancee. It was really fun at night when all of the metal doors would roll up and all of the restaurants and bars would appear. People would stroll up and down the narrow streets. There were wine bars to stop in, places with gelato, a piano bar, etc. We all enjoyed it.
