Rome enoteccas/wine bars

Do you have a favorite Rome enotecca/wine bar that scores high on ambiance, food, and wine?

I'd love to hear about it (and maybe visit on my upcoming trip).

Cherie1-you need to see this recent thread:

"Need Some Information on Enotecas Around Rome"- CAMPONESCHI WINEBAR, in Piazza Farnese.

Thank you, that was helpful. I had done a search but I spelled enoteca with two "c's."

Camponeschi wine bar looks lovely. I wonder how it compares with Ferarre...

Don't know the latter, but I can tell you those of us who have been to Camponeschi find it not only situated in one of the most picturesque spots in Rome (just off the Campo dei Fiori) but with 600 vintages to choose from, plus excellent mains and appetizers, it's hard to go wrong here. Just be advised, it opens late- at 8pm.

Enoteca Buccone on via di Ripeta

...and not to be ever-the-correctionist, but even if spelled right, the plural of enoteca is enoteche.

Best wishes,

Rex

p.s. search Buccone, and you will find some other good posts on this.
