Rome Apt near Piazza Novona and a gelateria called Fridg...........
 

About a week or so ago I read a recommendation for an apartment near Piazza Novona which sounded perfect for us and the poster also mentioned that it was near a gelateria with a name that started with Fridg. That's all I can remember - I thought I had bookmarked it so I could check it out later but now I can't find it. I know this is vague but its driving me nuts, I have looked through all my bookmarks and folders, searched here for hours but all in vain.

I hope someone remembers or it rings a bell for the original poster. I may then be able to get some sleep tonight!

The name of the gelateria is Frigidarium. Try searching with that.

Ah that's it, thanks Zerlina. But still no luck pulling up the thread so far, I shall keep trying.

Don't know if this is the one you were reading about. We stayed here a couple years ago. It's practically next door to Baffetto Pizzeria and also a Frigidarium gelateria.

Hi Swisshiker, um I don't think so because I was looking for a two bed two bath apartment but that is very close to where I remember the other one to be. I guess there must be heaps around that area!! There are some nice apartments on that site though, thank you.

Thatwas probably the apartment Kristina rented as it had two bedrooms and two baths. The info should be in her trip report.

If you are near Frigidarium, I suggest trying the dark chocolate/orange gelato. It is very delicious.
