Rome apt area--how is this??

My group could rent three of these for 5 nites in Rome --does anyone have a thought re the area and or Rentals in Rome (the company) ?

Price looks quite good to me

We have 11 in family so it would take 3 (they have 5 like this for rent apparently)

This area is fine. Some have had problems with that particular agency. Read the last post on this link:

Hi Alan,

I had posted a query about this rental agency and got a detailed reply on it. I also went and checked the reviews on slowtrav and realised that it's basically a hit or miss with this agency. Maybe the apartments that more expensive are better kept.

Click on my screen name and you will see the thread.

Hey Alanf, I think sunlight was actually talking about my experience with www.rentalinrome.com

It was awful to say the least. I have pictures of the apartment with the broken window, the mold all over the bathroom and the nasty beds...don't even get me started on how filthy the sofa was....we were afraid to sit on it and I am by no means a girly girl. We were there in December and there was no fuel for the heater plus the broken window letting in cold air. We were there for 8 nights and they only gave us one towel. The car company (through rentalinrome) scammed us out of more money, they were late picking us up even though we called the day before to make sure they had the correct time. There was no toilet paper, beds were very very old and probably would have been better to sleep on the cold floor. We tried calling the agency several times while in Italy and they always told us someone would get back to us...they never did. The deal was is if there was something wrong with the apartment they put you in a different one...but they didn't. Then once I got back to the states they would not return any of my phone calls. Like I said....I still have pictures if you need to see them. Do yourself a favor and use a different agency that has really good reviews.
