We just stayed in the Balestrari two weeks ago and loved it. I'm sorry, sarge, that it's not available for your time frame.

P.S. I found the Balestrari via you fine people here at fodors, and when I was reading the comment book, I wondered if any of you had left a review there.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions and input. It is much appreciated.

I found a place that I have a really good vibe about. It's new, but after googling the owner and exchanging several emails with him, I feel good about it.

New on VRBO: #423093

I suspect the time he spent in NY (4 yrs/school) left some American habits.. the shower actually has a curtain on it!
