Unless you actually made the booking for him (or advised him to book them), I don't think you should be contacting the hotels. Without knowing your actual involvment, it's hard to say what role you should take.

astein, I appreciate the advice. I did my one phone call/email, and that is about as much as I can help. His desperation was kind of driving me to try to do more for him.
He had a long list of deals to pick from, supplied by me, and he chose these. I did advise him to take the trip despite the cost. He has the rooms, he has the tickets... I would go and eat pizza, but that's me. |
tuscan - glad to be of some assistance. I agree with you completely. I was out of work for a few months and pizza and gelato would have been my chosen diversion from my job hunt.

Oh Tuscan, with the airline tickets and hotel rooms paid for I would go too. One can even get inexpensive wine in Italy as you know. I can't eat gelato but the Italian pizza and Italian wine would sure keep a smile on my face. And some good pasta at trattorias.

Hey PS,
>“Why did he want to go to Rome anyway. He should have booked for Naples”.< I'm not sure that that's a good idea for June. What if they have a garbage strike? I don't think that he should have considered Italy at all. Copenhagen and Oslo would be much better. ((I)) |
Hi tusc,
Very good of you to try to help a client. It looks to me as if you have done all that you could. ((I)) |

It's not just you, Tuscan...That's what I said. Will you let us know what he decides? |
