Rome and Venice

Any suggestions on hotels to stay in these 2 cities that are reasonably priced(100 euros/night). Also, is Bologna a nice place to visit for a day?

I'd recommend a browse through www.eurocheapo.com

Best wishes,

Rex

Also try www.venere.com. We got a reasonably priced room in Venice through them.

Hello Fordham, I love Bologna and it seems that everyone that visits that old university city does also. If you have the time I would put it on your itinerary. Best wishes.

Hi ford --

We paid 120/night (with cash) this month at the Albergo Guerrato in Venice. We were there in the high season, so depending on when you go, it might be cheaper. The room was nice with good A/C and wonderful service. Located just steps away from the Rialto Bridge, as well. Here's their site if you want to check it out:

I have a more in-depth write-up in my recent trip report, if you're interested. Good luck!
