Rome & Paris Hotels

I need a recommendation for a hotel in Rome and one in Paris. I will only be in each city one night so I want to be somewhere centrally located, restaurants and shops close-by and reasonably priced.

Thanks for your advice. I love this forum.

go to tripadvisor.com to see what the hotel ratings are for each city.

Do a search for these:

Rome--Hotel Parlamento

Paris---Hotel Bonaparte

Both reasonably priced and very well located. Nice decent hotels.

Try Hotel St. Germain des pres, Rue Bonaparte, St Germain des Pres. It's 3 star and right in the middle of a vibrant area (6th) with great restaurants, shops etc and easy access to the metro. We usually walk across the Seine to the Louve (about 5 mins) and shops etc. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommended.

try hotwire for Paris, not as good for Rome.
