Rome & Greece weather during October/November

I am thinking about booking a cruise after October 15 for Italy and Greece. Is this too late; what is the weather like? I have to book after October 15 because I will try to use FF points for the airfare.

Should be ok at that time of year. You may get some rain but it could also be quite hot. The nearer to 15th October the better.
