I just received my November issue of Cooking Light. There is a very nice article on Rome in this issue. FYI for any lover of Rome as I am. Please disregard this information if it has already been mentioned here!

I found the mag yesterday and noticed their "Best Tour" was Scala Reale!

Best View--from the piazza next to San Pietro in Montorio on the Gianicolo Hill. I will add, don't miss seeing
Bramante's Tempietto next to the church.
The Tempietto is a tiny church-let that can accommodate about 12 people

Best Gastronomy Museum--Museum of Pasta Foods, www.museodellapasta.it

Best Place to see Rome's historical layers--church of San Clemente, behind the Colosseum
the church and excavations cover about 12 centuries

Best Trattoria-- Da Lucia, in Trastavere
