Rome Airport Hotel
I will be arriving late at the airport in Rome and need a reasonably priced room for one night. Will have a car and will be driving to Sorrento in the morning. Didn't think it was wise or as much fun to drive too far at night. Can anyone help?

We have stayed at the Hilton there, it is very convenient, but not sure what you mean when you say reasonably priced. Do you have a price range you would like to stay within? Will you get the car that night or the next day?

Stealing from my trip report.
"We arrived in Rome at 9:30 p.m. Friday night after a 2 hour and 15 minute flight from London and walked to the Rome Airport Hilton, where we would spend the first night. If you like a good sauna, the walkway between the airport and the Hilton reminded me of one. All the weight I gained on the plane was shed during the five to ten minute walk to the hotel.
I remember reading a post by a guy who said that the Rome Airport Hilton was overpriced. Well, maybe it is, but the shower and late dinner of a ricotta and basil ravioli with julienne zucchini hit the spot just fine (the two martinis didn’t hurt either). For a couple of weary travelers, the hotel epitomized the phrase 'location, location, location', so we were just fine with it and we got to sleep in no time."
If you stay there. I would skip the overpriced breakfast. Short walk back through the sauna to get your rental car the next morning. Go on line to Rome Airport Hilton, and sometimes they have deals (although it will probably cost you $200 - $225). For convenience after a long flight, I thought it was good. It's nice to get a good night's sleep the first night, so for that reason alone it was worth it for us.

Sometimes I get room reservations which include the buffet breakfast. I thought it was a nice buffet and nice to have a good meal before setting off on the plane or driving.
I think you have to ask for the buffet to be included in a certain package.
I also have a late snack in the bar area, it is pretty relaxing. I usually arrive late from another city and just stay here before the flight out early in the morning.

Bag the Hilton, too expensive. Just inside the GRA about a 10 minute ride is the Holiday Inn Eur Parco de Medici. They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and take you there or rent your car and drive there, it's easy to find. It was about half the price of the Hilton.

I think you should just drive away from the airport area and go here or somewhere like this:
