Oooppps. my previous post said sheraton; meant hilton. can one walk from hilton to terminal without transport.

Yes. The hotel is located 100 yards from the airport.
A covered passageway will get you there.

I lost the URL but if you do a search at www.google.com for "Hilton home page" you will get to the hotel at FCO.

If you decide to make a reservation, take the time to call them besides looking on the website. Sometimes prices can be a little less expensive if you talk to someone and ask what is the most reasonable rate for this hotel for this date.

Last month I spoke directly to the hotel, in English, and got an overnight res. for 135Euro. It is so convenient to walk directly into the airport terminal through the passageway.
