Here is an article to get you started; you would just have to eliminate some things. You will not get any good replies here unless you state your budget for hotels and dining. You also might consider a tour of the Jewish ghetto...

Nothing is a must-see, imho (& I've visited many times). There is one must-do, though, and that is to walk walk walk, as much as you can. That's how you really see Rome! Enjoy la bella Roma!

The Jewish quarter is very small - it is still worth seeing and you should try to book a tour of the synagogue. check the hours because it is only open for a short time on specified days to the public and security is tight. But it is a beautiful synagogue. I'd encourage you to book a walking tour with a tour group like Jewish Roma then you will get the Jewish History of the ghetto, Trastevere, Tibertina, Coloseum, and Forum. The camp fiori - the next neighborhood from the ghetto has wonderful shops, restaurants, and ambiance so you can take the whole area in at one time.

I recommend the Rome mapeasy map. Check your local bookstore or online. I have used the Rome, Venice and Paris and they work great -- especially if you are a walker. Have the hotel personnel locate your hotel on the map.
