Rome - Bus ticket booking from Ciampino Airport
I was advised by Hotel owner to book a bus ticket from ciampino to the Hotel I am going to stay ie. Welrome Hotel, Via Calatafimi, 15/19 - 00185. 5 Min from Termini Station. Is there any website that I book the ticket ? Is it necessary to book the ticket ? What bus should I take ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you are flying one of the budget airlines, you can use Terravision(about 8E), but you have to show your ticket. It provides transfer from Ciampino to Rome Termini train station. You would still need to get from there to your hotel.
www.terravision.eu
You might also try a car service for 35E.They will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. There may be a surcharge for late night service. www.romeshuttlelimousine.com

If you're flying Ryanair, you won't be able to escape from hordes of staff trying to sell you that Terravision bus ticket, first already at the airport before boarding, again on the plane and again after landing. They are impossible to miss. No need for any booking efforts in advance. The Terravision bus is not the cheapest option, but it's the easiest way to get into town.

It seems the Schiaffini shuttle bus is a few E cheaper.

There is also the Cotral bus to a nearby metro/train station, but involves changing.

Thanks all. I am taking Ryan from Paris to Rome. In that I would not book the ticket. I may take terravision as Schiaffini shuttle is less frequent based on the schedule in the website.
Another question, my flight is schedule to arrive rome by 11.15 am. I am thiking of covering Collosuem, Palatine, Forum, and other attractions nearby. My question is how long does it take to cover this places. Would I be able to make this places taken into account that I have to travel from airport and check into hotel...if its not possible can you recommend and itenery for me during my first day in rome. Thanks

Hey
I need your advice guys. I am at loss here..
I need to be a Ciampino airport no later then 4 30 or 5 at the most. I am traveling alone. My flight leaves at 6 45.
I checked for Terravision and they have a bus at 4 30 am and say it takes 40 min. But it's a very close cut and what if teh bus dosn't come or there is heavy traffic even so early?
I don't really want to stay at the airport for the night.
I will be staying next to the Train Station Termini.
Are their any other options to get there so early?
Thank you.

There is also the Sitbusshuttle, but you will have to check their times. Otherwise, you can schedule a taxi as it is a set fee to the airports. You can also schedule a limo pick up which might be a few euro cheaper than the taxi.

Taxi:

This limo company is usually cheapest, but it appears it's only cheaper to Fiumicino than a taxi. For Ciampino, it seems to be a bit more, but they might quote you a better price.
