Romantic Room on Capri...Suggestions Please!
We seek a romantic room on Capri with a great view for two nights...We will arrive on April 10th...Any suggestions? I would prefer to keep the cost in the $180 to $250 per night range. Also, please advise of any positive dining experiences you can pass along. Thanks!

Can nobody help Cal?

I love the Villa Brunella, both the rooms and the restaurant are great. I'm not sure if the low season rates fall into Cal's price range but it's worth a look. Most rooms have large terraces overlooking the Faragloni. The hotel is on a quiet residential street lined with beautiful villas and about a five to ten minute stroll into the center of Capri town.

Hi Cal--I was just in Capri this past June--amazing!!!! We stayed at the Hotel Luna--I was beatuful--unfortunately I cant remember the price--but it was one of the moderately priced hotels--ans an amazing location--it literally overlooks the ocean--you can fing many hotels and see pictures of them on www.Capritourism.com--thats where I found this--good luck and enjoy!!!!!Ladybug

Caprionline.com is also a good website for finding hotels in Capri. We stayed at Syrene. Our view was over the same shopping street that the upscale Quisianna is on but we could see out to the see a ways away. Nice place but about $300 in high season.

I stayed at Hotel Luna this past September. Best views of the famous Capri rocks(name?), beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. I enjoyed their breakfast buffet outdoors. I paid 220 Euros for a double room with no view. I would recommend a room with a view about 100 Euros more. Service was great. Location in between monastery and Augustus Gardens. Capri is paradise once you get away from crowds in middle of town. Have fun!
