Romantic restaurants in Vienna
 

My husband and I leave for Vienna in two weeks, and we're looking for a quiet, romantic restaurant for our anniversary. <BR>We're also seeking recommendations for pre-State Opera performance "night-on-the-town" dining. <BR> <BR>Thanks for your help. <BR>

Good evening, Tonya <BR>One of our favorite spots is the restaurant "Zum Donnerbrunnen" which is located in the second floor of the Europa Hotel, Kartnerstrasse, 18, tel 513.12.23, very good food and wine, spoecialities are European, not necessarily Vioeneese, save room for dessert for an expresso and peice of Sacher Torte at the Sacher afterwards. <BR>Have a good trip. <BR>Richard of Hickory Hills, Il.... <BR>If you wish to eat before the opera performance the Weiner Rathauskeller, <BR>Rathausplatz,1, , Rist. Mykonos, Annagasse, 7 (if it is still there, Greek) or Cantinetta Antinori, Jasomir-Gott Str. 3/5, all a good ristorantes, but may be heavy when sitting thru an opera, some of these ristorantes have late kitchens that would be open after...rjv
