Romantic Paris Hotel

We are travelling to France in early October and although I have spent some time there this is the first trip for my husband. We are spending our last night in Paris before heading home and I'd like to book a nice romantic hotel. Any recommendations? I typically stay at a very small hotel in the Montparnasse area (Hotel des Bains) just because I love it but would like to splurge for a nice night. THANK YOU!

Define "splurge". Do you want to be near the train to CDG? What time is your flight home?

We aren't leaving early so I am open to areas of Paris and prefer to stay in the heart of the city. As for splurge - I'd say I'd like to try and stay under or about $300/nt. Thanks again!

Here are 3 previous threads with lots of good ideas. The last one has more info on what to do than where to stay, but I have some hotel info in that one as well.

This is easy. Pavillon de la Reine in the Marais. Look no further

Try the hotel Claridge Bellman , in the 8th, so the very heart of Paris...a four star hotel...It looks very romantic and comfortable....www.h-claridge-bellman.com!!!

I love the Pavillon de la Reine which is actually part of the buildings surrounding the Place des Vosges..BUT it can be pricey. Rooms aren't real big but they are well-decorated and the marble baths are nice. Staff willingly converses in English and is very helpful.
I usually stay there but am sure there are MANY other hotels which are just as "romantic." Have a great trip and good luck.

THANKS ALL - I will keep you posted!

In the 6th/7th area, take a look at Hotel de l'Abbaye and Hotel Duc de Saint-Simon, both small, charming, very romantic in my opinion. I'd guess, however, that they'd be booked for the period you're looking for.

Bonne chance.
