Roman Hotels

Hello all, I'm am finding a wealth of valuable info here. We will be travelling by train Florence to Rome to end our vacation and will have three nights in Rome April 5-8. Anyone have any ideas on some "fabulous" hotels in Rome that can be had for 150 - 170 euro/night? Or is that impossible? I think we would like to stay fairly close to Termini station. Any thoughts on BW Hotel Canada?

How about the Hotel des Artistes. It is 5 blocks from the station and very cost effective. Very easy to get to.

Try the Aberdeen. Near the Termini. 93 euro in Jan. Sure it is more now,but very clean, helpful staff, and in a good safe location.

No - fabulous hotels would be at least double that. the best you can hope for is well-located, clean and pleasant.

See my post about 5* hotels on Priceline.

Otherwise, I recommend Hotel Julia, which may be cheaper than your price range.

Just returned from Rome last week.
Try www.maryelen.com. Loredana is an
outstanding "host" and wonderfully warm and informative. Price is rightfor Termini area, hotel is clean and safe.
Check Venere.com for reviews but book directly for a better price,it will probably fall below your budget.
