Roma Pass vs. Expedia "Fast Track" deal
 

I found a Coliseum, Roman Forum, & Palentine Museum ticket w/ fast track admission on expedia (http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=tsdt). We had planned on getting a Roma Pass, but this seems to get us into these sites & allows us to skip the lines for a little less (approx $23/person on expedia vs. $35/person for Roma Pass). Is there an advantage to the Roma Pass that I am missing? Also, I tried to search the Roma Pass site for what sites were included in addition to those above but could not find it on the site. Does anyone know what sites/can you point me to a good website so I can check it out? Thanks.

It includes admission to a 2nd site, plus transportation. I think bus fares are 1euro per trip. If you're going to visit a 2nd site the Roma pass will be a better deal.

The $23 (actually 17 Euro) is the going rate for the admission to the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine if you were to purchase it there. You can avoid the lines by buying at the Forum box office, not the one by the Colosseum.

Your Expedia link expired so can't be viewed. It seems to me that is only one admission ticket as the Colosseum/Forum/Palantino is all on one ticket (normally 10€). Not sure why you would want to pay $23 for a ticket that would only cost you $13.05 (9€ x 1.45 exchange rate). The Roma Pass costs 23€ which would be $33.35(if purchased directly from them, not Expedia). You get free admission to two sites (Colosseum/Forum/Palantine is just one site), then you get discounts at other sites (usually 50% off) plus you get a 3 day transport pass for buses/trams/metro/local trains. To get your money's worth from the Roma Pass, use it for the Colosseum/Forum/Palantino (10€) and the Borghese (10€ - requires reservation) and use your transport pass and it will have paid for itself.

The Roma Pass is good for 40 sites while the Expedia is only for one.

You can buy a ticket to only the Colosseum/Forum/Palantine which is good for two days admission on the link provided by the Rome Tourist Board - Pierreci. Cost is 9€ + 1.50 booking fee. An extra 3€ if there are any special exhibits at the time you are going. Even if there is an exhibition, it's still a better price than Expedia.
