Rolling Stones
I am travelling to London in late August and just found out that the Stones are playing at Wembley on August 29th. I have always wanted to see a concert at Wembley. Unfortunately, the Stones are sold out with Ticketmaster. Can anyone suggest a reputable company that sells tickets to the sold out shows????

There are 20 on offer on e-bay.

Domi,
Look in the classified section of any major newspaper. They will list ticket brokers who will sell you a ticket as part of a package that may or may not include various "extras" such as hotel stays, admission to a members only party, t-shirts and hats etc. You'll pay more than the face value of the ticket, of course but I think the Stones are worth it! |
you can easily get a ticket from a broker, these will cost about 30% on top of face value, but if I were you I would simply turn up at the arena and buy a ticket off a tout ("scalper").
This can be costly, unless you turn up close to show-time, then you should get a ticket for less than face value. Incidentally; you are aware that the show is at the arena, not the stadium (which is being rebuilt)? The arena is a characterless exhibition hall that holds about 12,000. They are doing a stadium show - at Twickenham (the rugby stadium) |
Thank you David. I knew that Wembley was being renovated but I thought that maybe it was finished when I saw that the Stones were playing there. I did not realize that there was a Wembley arena as well. I am glad I got that straightened out. The building was more my focus as I have seen the Stones several times (including tonight in Toronto! Cheers!
