Rolling backpack - where to buy
I'd like to purchase 2 backpack type suitcases that have a handle and wheels.
Does anyone know where I could purchase such a thing? Thanks! Pam |
Have you tried LL Bean, Magellan.com, and TravelSmith.com? Another good source might be ebags.com.

There was just a post on here today about it. They had chosen a bag on REI. However - the general consensus is that they aren't a good idea. Here are the links:

I have purchased two different ones at CostCo in the past few years. We like them for their durability, good sturdy wheels, value price, plenty of handles and storage compartments. They don't show much wear and tear after a few years.

I think you can get something like that in any store that sells luggage. I don't buy expensive luggage, but I think I've seen those everywhere -- such as Target for cheaper luggage.

Rolling backpacks--Target, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Big Lots and the more expensive luggage/department stores. this is a good time to look for the item, with all the "back to school" things. I bought one last year, to try out on a trip and returned it before going.. It was not easy to pack things in it and I decided that my 19" rolling suitcase was a better choice. However, I have a friend who loves hers.
I would try out the one you decide to purchase, around the house, to see if you really like it. Be sure that the handle extends an appropriate length for your height. Ciao!! mhm |
