Roissy bus in Paris

I'm supposed to meet my daughter tomorrow in front of the Paris Opera. I'm taking the Roissy bus from CDG and was told that all buses go to the Opera "area." Will I be able to walk easily to Opera with two suitcases? I'm no spring chicken!

Thanks!

Yes, the Opéra is a big traffic circle with the Opéra building itself in the center. You'll "land" right on the circle and just have to walk a few steps the the front of the building.

Yes, 100 meters at the most.

You can check on the map, too. The RB drops you on rue Scribe.

In December I looked and looked for the bus stop without success. Later I saw the bus in motion. It is a long reticulated bus looking otherwise like a normal city bus. I never found the bus stop after walking around Opera twice and asking a group of cops, one of whom waved an arm in a direction which turned up nothing.

Click on the blue icon that looks like a map to the left of the word "Paris-Opera". A new window will open with a map of the area. At the very very center of that map will be the "Bus" stop for the Roissybus. It's next to the letter "R" for Rue Scribe".

rkkwan,
Thank you for the link. Excellent map. Put your mouse over any of the icons to get details of the bus, store, or whatever.

Here's a satellite view showing the articulated buses and Opéra building:
