I am enjoying your trip report blog!

What a fun day to day TR with terrific photos. Really enjoyable reading! My son and I will soon be in Paris again end of October. Last year in June we absolutely boiled with temps in the 80’s reaching into the high 90’s. I felt your pain. We had a difficult time walking in the heat and since Paris is the ultimate walking city it was a disappointment when taxis were a life saving necessity for this senior.

I like the enthusiasm of your report, but it could do with a bit of proofreading. And the term is "tout de suite;"

It's funny, whenever I just put a link in my Fodor's "trip report" I get a Nastygram from Fodor's that I need to cut and paste the entire report here. I guess this means I don't have to do that anymore, because I am sure there is no double standard in place. (: PS - Good report and a very nice blog!

I was also in Paris the first week in September, and yes it was roasting hot!

Looking forward to the rest of your report.

Kerouac, Thank you for the elucidation on my French. I do get by pretty well for a self taught girl. Proof reading, alas I am human, and while I do proof read I still miss things. I have learned,in my old age, to be graceful and expect grace in return.

Regarding the link: I am not any one important and was not sure it would work for me, but to my relief it did. :)

pgtraveler, if you look to the right of the page about half way down you will see “2023”, and if you open that “September” and then you can see the list of posts, they are newest on top. :)

Well said, Carline. I’m with you on the above gracious reply as we all stick our necks out and do the best we can when participating in this or any other public Forum.
