roads in amalfi area
 

i intend to rent a car for a trip in amalfi c. i have read that it is recommended to rent a small car , because the roads in the area are narrow & winding & also because of parking problems.
is this recommendation correct???

I would say yes, definitely.

Absolutely, something in the "economy" category. "Compact" at the most. Cars like the Renault Clio and Peugeot 206 are about perfect. That's also what locals drive.

I was thinking more like a Fiat Punto :)
