Road travel between Spain and Portugal

After a visit to Spain I will be tuning in my rental car in Sevilla and need to get to Albufeira, Portugal.
What is the best way to get there? Can I use bus or is there a train that I can use? Any details would be much appreciated.

There is no connection with rail networks in the south.
The bus company www.alsa.es will give you a journey, without changing, about four times a day.

There is one hour time difference between the two countries, so watch out when reading timetables.
