River Cruises
 

Has anyone used Viking or Vantage River Cruises? We are thinking of mid April. Any suggestion as to these companies etc.?

We went on Viking's "Waterways of the Czars" this past June and were extremely pleased. If you do a search here on Viking (not sure about Vantage), there are lots of posts. There are also a few other cruise travel forums you can find with a websearch with lots of Viking posts.

We have gone on two Viking River Cruises - - - through Russia in 2002 and on the Danube in 2003. We were very satisfied with all aspects, and have already booked for the "Tulips and Windmills" cruise through Holland and Belgium in April of 2004. Viking does a first class job. Do you have any specific questions?

We took a 14 day Viking cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest in 2003. It was wonderful. Viking is an excellent company.

Went with Vantage last December. Amsterdam to Munich and was extremly satisfied. Would recommend them and go again.
