River Cruise Help

We will have around 2 hours before visiting the Eiffel Tower summit , starting from 3pm to 5pm, Need suggestion on.. Which is the best river cruise starting from the Eiffel tower area,
From what we have read most of the boats are for a period of 1 hour, can we find some river cruise for 2 hrs or so.. and does an advance booking is required on mid October Monday.

There is some (one) company that leaves from the Eiffel Tower. You can take two of them to fill the two hours. No advance booking.
Really, there are a LOT of things to do in Paris even with a 6 year old other than cruising the river. YOu could just go sit in a sidewalk cafe and enjoy the passing scene.

I believe the Bateau Mouche boats leave from near the Eiffel Tower. The cruise takes about an hour but getting to the boats , purchasing tickets and walking to the ET after the cruise will take time as well so two hours is a good window.

The Bâteaux-Mouches cruises leave from the Pont de l'Alma on the right bank, not a long walk from the Tour Eiffel, just across the river. The cruises last an hour. There aren't any 2-hour cruises that I know of, and I can't imagine wanting to repeat the cruise twice. Just fill up any extra time you have by walking around and enjoying the neighborhood.

If you go to the official Bâteaux-Mouches website you can probably book in advance, but there's generally no need to.
