Hi<BR><BR>I'm surprised more people have not mentioned Canal Rhone a Sete and the continuation Canal du Midi.<BR>Canal du Midi joins the Med sea to the Atlantic sea by cutting behind the Pyrenees. I have friends who raved about a one-week barge cruise taken last summer with Uniworld.<BR>Traveled from Lyon through Provence.<BR>They added on 3 days in Nice at the end.
