From what I read here, it appears if you are lucky enough to enter the regular Gulbenkian museum, they would be very nice. However, in my case, the people at the Modern Gulbenkian, did not mention anything. That is why I call them thieves. They know that many people would not enter if they tell them that this is only a portion of the museum. At the regular museum, the visitor can select from the options, but would always choose to at least see the regular Bulkenkian. But those nice people are not so nice if you have already been ripped off by the Modern side. Then it is buy an new ticket or get lost.
They know they are thieves. Just because someone was lucky enough to enter at the regular Gulbenkian does not change the thievery. Does anyone believe that writing the museum would change anything? The best thing to do would be to update the guidebooks. Let Fodors and others describe the fact that there are multiple museums and to caution the readers. Let the readers know that the signage is either misleading or non existant. Tell the reader to ask exactly which museum they are entering.

I can assure you that if I knew there were more than one museum, I would have been very careful before I purchased the wrong ticket

Until then, this place is a rip off.
