Ring of Beara or Killarney National Park?

Hello,
In early September, we'll be driving from Kinsale to Killarney (Loch Lein Country House in Fossa) where we'll have two nights. My original plan was to drive directly to Kenmare for lunch then spend time in Killarney Park on way to hotel (see Muckross House, Torc waterfall) then the following day drive the ROK and see more of Killarney (Ross Castle, some of the Gap, etc), leaving the following morning for the Dingle Peninsula (only could get 1 night there).

However, I recently have been reading reports that people prefer the Beara Peninsula to the ROK for stunning scenery without the crowds. So, I have the thought to drive directly to Glengariff, then drive around the peninsula to Kenmare and on to Killarney. Would this be too much driving? And then I'd be shortchanging Killarney National Park, unless I skip driving the ROK, other than what's in the park. So, I don't want to overly complicate this trip, which is how it's starting to feel. Would really appreciate your thoughts on Beara vs. spending time in the Park.
