rimowa luggage

I have seen a little info on Rimowa on this site, but wonder if anyone has current info. I am interested in the deluxe salsa 22" cabin as a carry on. Looks a little big to me but I'm told it is for carry on. Also trying to decide between 26" and 29". I now have a Tumi 22" (really only about 21") and usually only take it and a smaller tote. However, I am getting weary of washing and wearing the same thing all the time. Does anyone use only the cabin carry on alone? How does that work for you?
Happy travels!!!

I like the Rimowa line, but I agree with you. I looked at some of the Deluxe Salsa line over the week-end and the 22" piece struck me as pushing the carry-on envelope - I don't know if they count the wheels in that measurement. And if you travel budget airlines with their stricter size limits, IMO, it wouldn't make the cut.

( OTOH, maybe it is 22" including wheels and my eyes are deceiving me)

According to the salesperson and website the 22" measures at 21.7" X 15.7" X 7.9". That includes wheels. The "real" measurements are in cm.
