Thanks!

platzman Sep 23rd, 2004 05:58 PM

I hope it comes with a new pair of khakis.

cigalechanta Sep 23rd, 2004 06:01 PM

Platzman, :) actually I prefer Rudy Maxa, but they do not seem to have him on the schedule

Margie Sep 23rd, 2004 06:03 PM

Thanks, this will be fun and informative! And yes Platzman, it does come with new khakis, washed out every 3rd day in the bathroom sink.

Hi
Just to let people know Rudy Maxa is on the Fine Living Channel. I also prefer him to Rick Steves.

Have you seen the wacky English guy on Globe Trekker? He's very funny. It's on PBS.

platzman Sep 29th, 2004 01:34 PM

I wash my khakis every 6 weeks in the hotel sink whether or not they need it.

martytravels Sep 29th, 2004 06:17 PM

LOL platzman. I bet Rick Steves' khakis could get around Europe on their own!

Melnq8 Sep 29th, 2004 08:11 PM

sandy travel nut - I think you're referring to Ian Something-or-other - I love that guy!

TopMan Sep 30th, 2004 04:01 AM

One thing about BOTh these guys: they always seem to know EXACTLY what to wear!

Is cigalechanta a registered lobbyist for Steves? Probably not. She can't even spell his name. What then? Probably just another ewe in Rick's flock, singing baaa, baaa, baaa.

cigalechanta Sep 30th, 2004 05:21 PM

hopscotch, take a walk on the wild side.

coccinelle Sep 30th, 2004 05:24 PM

hoppedup ought to do more than take a walk. Look at all her/his negatives posts.

cigalechanta Sep 30th, 2004 05:32 PM

LOL, hopscotch I have never bought a book of his but do watch his program and prefer Rudy Maxa but I was sharing with those who like him. What's your problem?

jenmcguiness Sep 30th, 2004 05:40 PM

I say we get a show in production immediately, (title needs work) Get the best vacation for the dollar. Taking small strains from the Rick Steves genre, yet some more cultured ideas from Rudy Maxa. These were all deep sown seeds within. Should I pursue that Masters degree is Art History or Law. I suppose either may be profitless or Unfufilled. Too bad all of my funding is lost in trips to Europe...
I guess I'll just keep on with being an acct. and saving up for quartely trips. You know, the travel agencies aren't hiring.
