rhodes

we will be in rhodes for about 7 hours. Should we go to Lindos or tour rhodes on our own. we understand that the travel time to lindos is one hour each way. Is it worth the time or should we spend it in rhodes? dap1206

Stay in Old Town to see Palace of the Grand Master, Archaelogical Museum, Walls of the Old Town, Street of Knights, and Mandraki Harbour.

You can go to the small beach near the new harbour, close to where the cruise ships dock.

The best jewellery store on Rodos is ilias lalaounis at the bottom of the Street of Knights.

I agree with the others. Stay in Old Town. It will fill up the 7 hours before you know it.

That's four in favour - Lindos is one long walk up - nothing on top and lots of tat at the bottom.

The main highlight on the drive down is Faliraki and that is a highlight for lowlifes.

Rhodes town has enough to keep you going for days.
