Rex: Can You Help Us On The USA Board?
Hello Rex:
I know you explained how to create a link but I can't do it.
I wrote the beginning of My Alaska Trip Report and then started a second thread called Alaska Trip Report Part 2.
I HAVE continued to keep all of the report on that thread...whew!
I could use a link at the end of the first report to that report.
Can you help? Please?
I hope so.
Thank You either way.

Hi Oaktown,
You right click on the title of the thread in the left column.
Go to properties (it's at the end of the list). You will then see the thread number (it's listed as an address).
Uusing the left mouse button highlight the address. Begin with "http" and copy the number up to the ampersand.
Paste into your first post as a response.
Alternatively, you can copy your second thread into the first as a response to your first thread and keep everything together that way.

Done. And do you grasp how to do it? Adrienne's explanation is okay, but thi seems more intuititve to me: with the thread whose URL in the ("main" right-hand frame, right click on the message header (up at the top), Click "copy shortcut". This "loads" it. Control-V (or ("Edit-paste" pastes it.
Or as the Fodors FAQ suggests, right click on the message header in the left hand column and "Open in a new window". The URL will be right there visible to you in the browser (UL) space of the new window.
Best wishes,
Rex
